Anniversary of the Endangered Species Act

Celebrated every year on December 28

The Endangered Species Act was signed in 1973 by President Richard Nixon on December 28 of that year.
It is one of the treaties in existence that prevent humans from wiping out complete species because of petty reasons like for instance money or ignorance.
With this anniversary we emphasize how important it is to save endangered species.
Because they are often endangered not because of actual real natural reasons, but because of the destructive habits of humans.
If you think this sounds anti-human.
Maybe there is a reason to better the average human behavior.
