Badger Day started out as a British holiday,
though it is gaining more global attention every year.
The badger is a small omnivore of the Mustelidae family,
which means they are closely related to wolverines,
weasels and otters. The name “badger” comes from the old word “bageard” which refers to the markings badgers often have
on their foreheads.Badgers live in many places around the world
which includes Europe, Asia, Afrika and North America.
