Baklava is a famous Mediterranean pastry
that fits absolutely nowhere in the ketogenic diet
because you probably won’t find any pastry as high in
sugar as baklava.

And honey. Lots of honey.
Traditionally baklava should also contain nuts,
cinnamon and butter.

Some bakers omit the nuts
to add even more sugar or honey.
