A whole month before Saturnalia

Brumalia is an old Roman festival that combined the anticipation for the Winter Solstice with a harvest festival, worship for Demeter, Saturn and noticeably Bacchus all in one month long celebration.
The manner of celebration could vary from moderate daily celebrations to regular orgies, depending on personal style of worship.
Most celebrations of Brumalia would last from November 24 until the celebrations of Saturnalia, which would start on December 17 until December 23.
You could say that those who did not party wisely during Brumalia would risk on missing out the Roman equivalent of Christmas.
So, enjoy with caution because there is a really long party ahead!
