An event every year that begins at 00:00 on day 29 of March, repeating indefinitely
When: March 29
Where: 🇨🇦 Canada & USA 🇺🇸
First occurrence: 1848
On this day on 1848 the abundantly showery waterfall Niagara Falls had no water falling at all! 🚰
🚱 On March 29th, 1848 the rivers leading to Niagara falls experienced such severe ice blocking that the unthinkable happened: The waterfall known for its flow of 3,160 tons of water per second had barely a drop falling.
Just to be sure, check online or in person if Niagara Falls is still flowing. To be extra sure, pour some (clean) water at the top to help nature a little. 😉
