An event every year that begins at 00:00 on day 23 of April, repeating indefinitely
The Vinalia /vɪˈneɪliə/ were Roman festivals celebrating the wine harvest.
The first Vinalia, held on 23 April, was also known as the Vinalia urbana.
The Vinalia urbana was celebrated by drinking last year’s wine, while asking the blessings of Venus and Jupiter for good weather until the next harvest.
The Vinalia rustica followed on 19 August, before the grape harvest of that year.
