which happened approximately on May 25, 1957 UC.

On the Roundworld (our world):
Terry Pratchett, in his Discworld novel “Nightwatch” (published in 2002).
After Terry Pratchett was diagnosed with alzheimers in 2007, the
following date of May 25 in 2008 made wearing the lilac also bear
the meaning of a signifying support for the research in battling alzheimers.


How to attend:

Wear a lilac flower and have a hard boiled egg with your meal of choice.

If you also celebrate Towel Day you can wear a lilac towel.
