World Post Day is the anniversary of the Universal Postal Union (UPU), which started in 1874 in Switzerland. This was a great day for people who wanted to send letters
to anywhere in the world. Instead of national systems who had to establish
connections which each country individually, finally there was a post delivery system that operated on a global system.
