Chicken Noodle Soup for the Flu Day

Celebrated every year on November 12.

One of the oldest and oddly specific home remedies in many parts of the world is chicken noodle soup to cure the flu.
Science has found that eating soup does indeed help to fight the flu!
– Raising your temperature helps you fight of the flu bacteria.
– Ingesting salty liquids helps you hydrate that bit extra while you experience a higher body temperature.
– Having proteins and a lot of veggies helps you get the right nutrients.

The part where the traditions are wrong is where it needs to be chicken noodle soup specifically.
Any hot soup with enough salts, veggies and proteins will work. Especially when there is enough potassium among the minerals in your soup. Using green veggies will help with this.
