Eat A Cranberry Day

Celebrated every year on November 23.

The name of cranberries is derived
from the German, “kraanbere”  (craneberry in English).
Cranberries were first grown in North America.
But now they are also cultivated in British wetlands.

“There are four unbroken rules
when it comes to Thanksgiving:
there must be turkey
and dressing,
cranberries,
mashed potatoes,
and pumpkin pie.”

— John Hadamuscin
