Celebrated every year on the first Thursday of November.
Men Make Dinner Day was created in 1998 by Sandy Sharkey, a radio announcer at radio station, 93.9 BOB FM in Ottawa, Ontario, Canada to get her husband to cook at least one meal for her per year.
“Perhaps a drastic measure to get that one dinner but it really does work….”
On November 9, 2001 Men Make Dinner Day was made official when it received a Canadian trademark for the name and event.
This holiday is made especially for the very traditional manly men who’s friends and relatives agree are still stuck in the past centuries.
It’s okay to make food, because food is delicious.
