And he opened his mouth in blasphemy against God, to blaspheme his name, and his tabernacle, and them that dwell in heaven.

International Blasphemy Day, also known as International Blasphemy Rights Day was founded in 2009 by the Center for Inquiry to raise awareness for the right to criticize religion.
A right that even today is still illegal in several parts of this world and sometimes even punishable by death.
International Blasphemy Day is a celebration for our right to freedom of having our own opinion on matters of religion or non religion.
Because religion should never be mandatory.
