Celebrated every year on November 17.

International Happy Gose Day was created in 2016 by the Leipzieger Bierfreunder.

Gose is a beer originally made in Goslar, a historic town in the area of the Harz mountains in Germany.
Later on though, Gose became more associated with Leipzieg.
Goslar Bier is a very non traditional beer as it went right against the old purity laws of brewing beer in Germany which dictated not to add any additives to beer.
Gose contains sea salt and coriander.

To many, Gose beer is quite a delicacy.
But people who carry the cilantro-tastes-like-soap gene would probably be better off ordering something else to drink.
