Celebrated every year on the First Friday in October

Kids Music Day was created by Vincent James and Joann Pierdomenico and was first held in 2016.
Because they believe music is very important for the development of children, the Pierdominico’s started their Keep Music Alive mission.
Besides Kids Music Day, Keep Music Alive also organizes Teach Music Week.
