Celebrated every year on November 25.

parfait /ˈpɑːfeɪ/: 
1. A rich dessert made with whipped cream, eggs, and fruit. Served cold.
2. a French word meaning “perfect”

The original French parfait is mix of cream, eggs, syrup some liqueur
and with air whipped in to make it nice foamy.
And then frozen.
And whipped again.
Etc, until the desired consistency is reached.

In the USA parfaits are often layers of cream, ice cream and fruit.
Served in a tall glass and topped with whipped cream and liqueur.

A newer trend is the yogurt parfait.
A yogurt parfait is made simply by layering yogurt, muesli and fruit.
