Mud Pack Day

Mud Pack Day

Celebrated every year on September 30

mud pack: noun.

1. A cosmetic paste for the face composed  of earth, minerals, hydrating components and/or other ingredients considered of beneficial to the skin.
2. A euphemism for intercourse via the “back door”.

A mud pack is the little sibling of the mud bath.
Instead of diving into a pool of mineral enriched mud, you just take a bit of it and put it on your skin.
This is pretty much all there is to a basic mud pack.
Which minerals and other stuff you need in the mud pack varies widely with who you ask.
Commonly the most received advice boils down to that the most expensive mud packs are the very best, because they contain the longest and thus most expensive words.

Also, applying the mud pack can be combined with any form of massage which can be both beneficial to the skin and for stress relief.
