World Freedom Day

Celebrated every year on November 9.

World Freedom Day was declared in 2001 by then-President George W. Bush to commemorate the end of the Cold War in 1991 and the fall of the Berlin Wall in 1989.

The fall of the Berlin Wall finally connected East Europe and West Europe after decades of political separation.
It would be a tragedy if someone would make that mistake again of building another wall like that.
